So after receiving an email Friday that had a deployment list attached (of which my name was not included) we determined our spots must have been filled by reservists. (there was a statement in the email referring to reservists filling extra spots...so it wasn't really made up.)
Ok so I'm not going.
Everyone has been thoroughly confused and so we're looking for clarification. Latest word, "you're still on the list".
So now, I'm going. Sometime.
I'm headed to work today to pick up my last uniform that now has name tapes and my rank on it. Really hoping this $600 on uniforms and supplies wasn't a waste.
I called everyone to tell them I'm going, then yesterday called to say I'm not going. Sounds like I may be making another phone call ...
If I am going I would very much like to be taken off the work schedule because I have a ton still to do before deployment...including hang out with my husband, sister and friends! Not to mention I was going on leave to Maryland in approx 2 weeks...which of course I canceled...but then was going to try to redo today...now I don't know what to do!
